Montana is renowned not just for its “blue ribbon” fishing, but for the entire outdoor experience. There is so much to explore and so many activities, too numerous to mention. Of course, fishing is our number one concern and there is plenty of that to go around.

The valley from Whitehall to Virginia City in southwest Montana offers a minimum of four blue ribbon trout streams within very close proximity to each other. The Ruby, Big Hole and Beaverhead rivers all join together to form the Jefferson River, which then joins the Gallatin and Madison to form the mighty Missouri. Each and every one of these rivers offer great fisheries for rainbow and brown trout.

Angler's Passport is well versed in all the fisheries, lodges, home rentals, guides and activities since this is where we actually live and work. We can offer you everything from a one day guided float trip out of Twin Bridges, Ennis or Dillon on one of these great blue ribbon trout streams or better yet, how about a week or two combining a few locations throughout Montana and giving yourselves some variety of scenery, fishing conditions, hatches and activities for those traveling with you who may not be so keen on fishing.

With awe inspiring national parks such as Yellowstone and Glacier within such a close proximity, there is no shortage of wildlife viewing, camping, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and just soaking up the natural beauty Montana has to offer.

We can put together a personalized itinerary that will blow your socks off, so give us a call.
